We are looking for a full-time on-site Project Manager for our Chino, CA facility. Reporting to the Director of Customer and Project Development, the Project Manager is a key functional interface between the business and technical teams and works integrally with these teams to: define project plans and timelines, facilitate team communication, track progress, establish metrics, reports and work with outside vendors to aggregate necessary resources and assets.
Your Role:
- Manage all projects from customer commitment/PO issued to implementation.
- Help determine project scope, timelines, and resources necessary to complete projects on time and on budget.
- Develop project specifications based on business requirements, company capabilities and consumer research.
- Provide regular status reports to cross-functional team members and senior management.
- Develop and implement project tracking documentation.
- Coordinate of the initial Item Set-up and data population of Item Master in X3- ERP system.
- Develop all BOM’s in support of new item introductions.
- Support the upkeep and maintenance of Standard Costs.
- Derive best practices for project management throughout the organization.
- Partner with R&D to coordinate the formula BOM into the project.
- Participates in up-front project kickoff meetings.
- Coordinate with Ops/Engineering to assess capability for line assignment and Maintenance/Fill Testing
- Manage Change part communication/approval with Customer
- Coordinate timeline for EO/Plant Trial scheduling/execution with Quality Production Engineering
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Your Skills
- Good attendance is key for this role
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior problem solving, decision making, organizational and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- 3 or more years’ experience in Project Management
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Visio, Project, etc.) and other web-based analytical applications.
- Excellent cross-functional teamwork and project management skills.
